Haagen-Dazs is a beloved maker and retailer of find ice cream. Founded by the Mattus family in the early 60s, Haagen-Dazs company set out to revive some old-world traditions and craftsmanship. H�agen-Dazs began with just vanilla, chocolate, and coffee ice cream, but the brand quickly attracted loyal customers, and Mr. Mattus added more fine flavors. In the early days, the ice cream was only available in gourmet shops in New York City, but by 1973 H�agen-Dazs had expanded their distribution along the east coast, and the first of many H�agen-Dazs cafes opened in 1976.
